Great first tent
I bought this for my son who is in scouting America. He was able to set it up and pack it away with no issues.he had plenty of space and the mesh roof made for great air flow. He loves it! I highly recommend this product for first time campers.

wind conditions
Just purchased this tent for a hunting trip in South Dakota from sheeles. The size was perfect for me since I’m a bigger guy at 6'5" and 300 pounds. Setup and takedown were exceptionally easy, and it packed up and stored without any issues.
The first night really put the durability to the test. I got caught in a windstorm with sustained winds around 50–60 mph. The rain fly held up through the storm completely unscathed, which impressed me. The poles, however, didn’t fare as well. One of the curved pole joints bent during the storm, which honestly makes sense since that would likely be the weakest point under that kind of stress.
Considering the extreme wind conditions, I think the tent still performed very well overall. If you’re camping in normal conditions, I’d definitely recommend it, especially for larger people looking for a roomy and easy-to-use setup.

A good, reliable tent for a good price!!!
The size of this tent is just enough for two people and two small dogs with space for all our gear too. It doesn’t feel cramped or claustrophobic. The floor seems very sturdy to resist rain and moisture. It’s easy enough to set up and take down, and that is important for us. Overall, a good tent for the cost!!!

My affordable moto-camping tent
I have used this tent several times for moto-camping as well as car camping with my dog over a multi-day trip to Maine and back from Illinois. I love how easy it is to set up as well as how nice the ventilation is even with the rain cover on. Roomier up top than most 2-person tents and definitely kept me dry in rainy conditions. Even though I look at more expensive tents online for possible upgrades, I don't pull the trigger because I'm happy with what I got. Until I have a bad experience with it, I will keep using the Coleman Skydome as my primary small camping tent.
